Ralph P. Langit, Jr.

Ralph Langit passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026 at the age of 89 at home. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and loyal friend to many.

A respected member of the community, Ralph was an actively involved member of Middletown Rotary and the New York Orange County Chamber of Commerce. He served as President of Langit & Associates and was known for his professionalism, generosity and dedication to helping others. Throughout his life, he supported various charities and gave back whenever he could. Ralph was also a proud Boy Scout Master for troop 353, where he mentored young people with patience, leadership and kindness.

In his free time he enjoyed watching college football, tennis and was an avid reader who was rarely seen without a book.  He loved to travel and capture the beauty of the places he visited through photography. One of his greatest joys was baking – especially with his grandson, Landon and preparing his favorite Filipino specialties.  He was always happy and loved a buffet and never passed up a good one. Ralph will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Langit of Summerville, SC; sons, Vincent Langit (Lisa) of Honolulu, HI, Michael Langit (Lori) of New Windsor, NY; daughter, Nadine Sienko of Summerville, SC; step-daughter, Allison M. Bougher (Dustin) of Summerville, SC; along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Julie) Balange; and son, Ralph F. Langit, III.

Ralph loved his family. He is deeply missed by his beloved wife, Sandra, his family and his faithful dog, Snowball.
