Ramon D. Cruz

Ramon D Cruz, 58, of Ladson, SC, passed away, Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483, from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Funeral Services will be following on October 2, 2021 at Parks Funeral Home starting at 11 o’clock. The family will receive friends following the service at 2 o'clock at 337 Domingo Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

Ramon was born on October 10, 1962 in the Dominican Republic. He was the son of Angel M Cruz and Eva A Cruz. Ramon enjoyed a lot of things in life, especially riding his bike, watching football, fishing and camping, and sports cars. He loved to barbecue with his friends and family. He had such a loving personality, and was always smiling. Ramon was boisterous, and ambitious. One of his favorite quotes he would always live by is, “everything is important and nothing matters.”

Ramon is survived by his parents, Angel Cruz and Eva Cruz; daughters, Melody Cruz-Stallworth and Melissa Cruz; brothers, Gerry Cruz, and Angel Cruz; sister, Hilda Cruz; brother in-law, David Bonilla; sister in-law, Yvelisse Cruz, Pricida Cruz; nieces, Raquel Martinez, Hilda Martinez, Hailey E Cruz, Joanna Cruz, Nicole S Cruz; nephews, Felix Martinez, Angel A Cruz, Christopher X Cruz, Gerardo Cruz, Steven Cruz; grandchildren, Christian Anthony Carter, Camren Alanzo Carter, Mason Daniel Stallworth, and Jaiden Noah Stallworth.
