Raymond Ivor Ridley, 90, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Magnolias of Summerville surrounded by loved ones.
Ray was born in Flint Michigan on April 1, 1929. Ray served proudly in the United States Army Air Force. He was a former proud worker for General Motors where he retired,then traveled around the world with his wife. He was a wonderful and proud Grandfather of his three grandsons. He was a lover of golf, news, Vernor’s ginger ale, and milkshakes.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the love of his life of 60 years, Betty Ridley as well as two brothers Cleveland “Cleve” Ridley and Dale Ridley and a grandson Luke Ridley.
Ray is survived by his two special grandsons Justin (Ashley) Ridley of Summerville and Benjamin (Kelly) Ridley of York Maine, 5 grandkids, several nieces and nephews, several cousins, a son Gary Ridley of SC, and a special friend Ron of Goose creek.
The family would like to thank Magnolias of Summerville for everything you did and the love you gave to Ray “Grampy”.
A graveside service will be held in Michigan at a later date.
