Rid Carson Muckelvaney

Rid Carson Muckelvaney, 65, of Ridgeville, SC, husband of Ruth Scott Muckelvaney, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday afternoon, October 15, 2025 at 1 o’clock at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be in the church from 12 noon until the time of service. Flowers are accepted.

Rid was born January 29, 1960 in Ridgeville, SC. He worked as a Construction Contractor and loved carpentry and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Ruth of Ridgeville, SC, Rid leaves behind his son, Matthew Diemert of Courtland, OH; daughter, Victoria Harrison of Summerville, SC; brothers, Glen Muckelvaney (Julie) of Cottageville, SC, Stinez Muckenfuss (Delores) of Canadys, SC, Olsen Muckenfuss (Edith) of Texas, and Jimmy Muckenfuss (Sheila) of Ridgeville, SC; sisters, Valerie Etheredge (Joey)  and Annette Boren (Billy), both of Ridgeville, SC; grandchildren, Alexzondrea Harrison, Olivia Harrison, Amyah Harrison, Blakely Laws (Evan), Madilyn Diemert, Lacie Diemert, Tessa Diemert,  and Ava Harrison; and a great-grandchild, Khyrie Johnson. He is predeceased by his parents, Leon Muckenfuss, Sr. and Susan Creel; brothers, Tony Wilder (Brenda), McGinnis Muckenfuss, Leon Muckenfuss, and Barry Muckenfuss (Lisa); sisters, Inez Boren and Laverne Muckenfuss; and his grandparents, Wilford Muckelvaney and Viola Mazie.
