Robert Allen Grooms, Jr., 54, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Emily Jelinek, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021 at 11 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.

Robert was born March 13, 1967 in Charleston, SC, the son of Robert Allen Grooms, Sr. and Diane Richardson. He was a handyman and painter.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Jelinek Grooms; step mother, Shirley Ann Craven Grooms; daughter, Brittany Leigh-Ann Grooms; step daughter, Chloe Harman; brothers, Frank Martin, Joe Grooms, Tony Grooms and Harold Grooms; and his sisters, Angela Grooms, Cindy Dickens, Tangerine Grooms and Christina Grooms. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen Grooms, Sr. and Diana Richardson and his brother, Arthur Martin.
