Ronald DeBrosse Obituary

Ronald Patrick DeBrosse, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Debrosse, died September 15, 2024 at his home in Summerville.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11 o'clock at Summerville Presbyterian Church, 407 South Laurel Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

Ronald was born in Charleston, SC at the Naval Base. After he graduated from Balboa High School in 1961, he went into the Navy working as an RM3 for four years.  From 1965-1969 he was a Corrections Office for Los Angeles County and Torrance, CA Police Departments. In 1969 he joined the State Department and served 34 years in nine countries including the U.S. as a Communications Officer. He retired in 2002.

He is survived by his wife, Modena; his brother, Wes; daughters, Michelle and Elaine; grandchildren, Trinity, Talon and Tyler; nephew, Michael; nieces, Krista and Julia and several cousins.
