Ryan Mikel Koontz, 41, of Walterboro, SC passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Graveside Services will be Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025 at 2 o’clock in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service from 11 o’clock until 1 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.
Ryan was born November 26, 1983 in Bloomington, IN. He worked as an Area Supervisor for West Fraser Timber Company and loved billiards, bowling, archery, and hunting and fishing. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Ryan leaves behind his children, Hunter Koontz, 20, of Walterboro, SC, Joshua Koontz, 18, of Summerville, SC, and Autumn Koontz, 17, also of Summerville, SC; stepfather, Randall Fields of Indiana; and brother, John Fields also of Indiana. He is predeceased by his mother, Jennifer Fields, formerly of Indiana.
