Sarabell (Cone) Clayton

Sarabell Cone Clayton, 96, of Givhans, SC, widow of Joseph Clayton, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Sarabell Clayton are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the graveside, Cummings Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cummings Chapel Cemetery, P.O. Box 351, Ridgeville, SC 29472.

Sarabell was born in Miley, South Carolina on April 8, 1925. She was the daughter of John Harvey Cone and Beulah Myers Cone. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Givhans.

Sara is survived by her daughters, Eileen Hutto of Sandridge, SC, Elizabeth Clayton of Givhans, SC and Jo Ann Mixson (Donald) of Lugoff, SC; brothers, Joe Cone (Sonny) and Murray Cone of Knightsville, SC; grandchildren, Adam Salisbury, Sara Gressette and Amy Stasiukaitis and 7 great grandchildren, Anna, Julia, Leila, Ella, Suzi, June and William (Mac). In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Rodgers Cone, Doris Patrick, Jewel Long, Eugenia Varner, Allen Cone, Ed Cone and Martha Jean Bass and a great granddaughter, Anele.
