Shannon Lynn Pappas

Shannon Lynn Pappas, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Shannon’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she devoted herself to making sure they were always cared for and supported.

Shannon is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Pappas II of Summerville, SC; father, Michael T. Rae of Toledo, OH; sons, Thomas Wayne Pappas III of Summerville, SC, David Glen Pappas of Toledo, OH; daughters, Sarah Pappas of Walterboro, SC, Rachel Pappas of Toledo, OH.

She leaves behind her brothers, Terry Rae of Perrysburg, OH, and Larry Rae of Oceanside, CA; and her sister, Renee Huber of Avon, IN.

Shannon was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Connie Lee Rae.

Shannon will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her generous spirit, and the care she poured into everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Parks Funeral Home Chapel, time to be determined. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted.
