Shelly Clifton Williams, 85, husband of Shirlene Annette Williams, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

All services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roper St. Francis Home Healthcare.

Shelly was born on July 21, 1935 in New Hope, South Carolina. He was the son of Johnnie Christopher Williams and Janie Dovey Clifton Pye.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; sons, Shelly "Cliff" Clifton Williams, II (Cookie) and Gregory Alan Williams (Donna); sisters, Ulyssese Salvo and Lucille Limehouse (Richard); 2 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lewis Williams, Harold Williams and his sister, Annie Bell Smith.
