Shirley J. Porter

Shirley June Porter, 79, of Moncks Corner, SC, widow of the late Donald O. Porter, Sr., passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025 at 10 o’clock in Plantation Memorial Gardens. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Shirley’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association by visiting www.diabetes.org.

Shirley was born August 5, 1945 in Santa Cruz, CA, the daughter of the late Alvin Edward Garber and Geneva Pear Bullard Garber. She was a homemaker and will be dearly missed. She loved crafting, traveling and everything Disney, especially Tinkerbell.

Shirley leaves behind her sons, Donald Porter, Jr. of Arizona and Timothy Porter of South Carolina; daughters, Teresa Kammermeier of Minnesota and Geneva Caulder of Alabama; her identical twin sister, Sharon Fisher of Virginia; nice, Jackie Narup; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and husband.
