Theresa Bernadette Johnson, 79, wife of Edwin Johnson, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Theresa Johnson are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020, at St. John Catholic Church, Summerville. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. There will be a visitation and Rite of Committal in Calvary Cemetery, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the first week of January, handled by Verne Wood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to Dorchester Paws, 136 Four Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483.

Theresa was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on April 18, 1941. She was the daughter of Leeman and Bernadette Boston. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, camping, flower gardening, but more than anything else, she loved spoiling her grands. Theresa was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Doe’s, Drove 231 in Charleston, SC.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Johnson; her sons, David Johnson and his partner, Jaylene and Michael Johnson and his wife, Alison; her sister, Lorraine Boston; her niece, Kelly Boston, as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Leeman Boston, Sr. and Bernadette LaBerge Davis and her twin brother, Leeman Boston, Jr.
