Timothy Wayne Mitchum

Timothy Wayne Mitchum, 59, of Summerville passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers are accepted.

Wayne was born on December 17, 1964 in Summerville, SC. He enjoyed watching USC Gamecocks Football, and the NASCAR races. Wayne was known as a handyman, he was always fixing things and doing woodworking projects. Every holiday season, Wayne would dress up as Santa Clause for his grandkids. He was one of a kind, and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Mitchum of Summerville, SC; sons, Chad Mitchum  (Darci) of Manchester, NH, Chris Mitchum (Sterling) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Skyler Mitchum of Manchester, NH, Jax Mitchum of Manchester, NH, Motley Mitchum of Sumter, SC, Grayson Mitchum of Sumter, SC; stepchildren, Erika Murphy, Philip Curtis; brother, George Mitchum of Summerville, SC; sisters, Janice Tripp of Summerville, SC, Marty McConnell of Summerville, SC. He is predeceased by his parents; George and Betty Mitchum, and sister; Beverly Legette.
