Tommy Lee Wread, 78, of Summerville, SC, husband of Elizabeth S. Millard Wread, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Memorial Services with Military Honors will be Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026 at 11 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Tommy’s name may be made to St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.
Tommy was born December 16, 1947 in Atlanta, GA, the son of the late Frank Wread and Sara L. Wells Wread. Tommy worked as a General Contractor, honorably served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He loved fishing, golfing, and NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Elizabeth of Summerville, SC, Tommy leaves behind his son, Brandon T. Wread also of Summerville, SC; daughters, Jaime Wread Stone of Summerville, SC, Tammy L. Wread, and Shannon Wread, both of Gainesville, GA; and seven grandchildren including Chance Turko and Weston Wread, both of Summerville, SC.
