Tracy McEvoy Obituary

Tracy Samm McEvoy, 43, of Goose Creek, was taken from us on Saturday, February 24, 2024. In a profoundly poignant turn of events, Tracy departed this world on the same day as her beloved son, William Allen McEvoy, Jr. “AJ” to his family and friends. Tracy will be cremated, and her earthly remains will be eternally laid to rest with her dear son, AJ, a testament to their inseparable bond in life and beyond. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening, March 5, 2024, at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

Tracy was born in Jacksonville, FL, on August 25, 1980, to Michael and May Samm. Her life was a vibrant tapestry woven with passion, determination, and an unyielding joy for connecting with people. As a skilled real estate agent and experienced retail manager, Tracy's dedication to her community was evident in her every interaction. She possessed an unmatched ability to connect with people effortlessly and bring them together to achieve common goals, leaving a lasting impact on many lives through her professional and personal endeavors.

Beyond her career, Tracy embraced the simple pleasures of life with open arms. She was a lover of the outdoors, frequently found at the beach, soaking in the sun and the serenity of the waves. Her moments with her children, family, and friends were cherished deeply, memorialized with laughter, adventure, and shared discoveries.

Tracy is survived by her adored children, Victoria Libby and Cameron McEvoy, who embody her strength, compassion, and zest for life. Their mother's legacy of love and resilience will forever inspire them. She also leaves behind her loving mother, May Samm; her siblings, Stephanie Samm (Kyle VanDuinen), Jennifer Samm and Amanda Henry and her cherished nieces and nephews, Matthew, Evangeline, Genevieve, Zoey, Daisie, Lilly, and Jamie Lee. Each of these individuals carries a piece of Tracy's spirit, ensuring her remarkable influence on the world continues. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Michael Samm.

Tracy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, yet her light will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. As we gather to remember Tracy, let us celebrate her remarkable life and the indelible mark she has left on our world. May her soul, and that of her beloved son, AJ, rest in eternal peace, united in love and memory.
