Wanda Kay Baehr, 71, of Sumter, SC, wife of James Baehr, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Memorial Services will be at a later date.
Wanda was born February 2, 1953 in Toldeo, OH, a daughter of the late Everett Eugene Hooton and Alice Gertrude Brown. She worked as a secretary and loved fishing, gardening, and cooking. She also enjoyed raising birds and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, James of Sumter, SC, Wanda leaves behind her son, Joseph Allen (Crystal) of Summerville, SC; daughters, Pamela Bond of Summerville, SC and Terrie Ferguson (Jeffrey) of Pioneer, OH; brothers, Gary Hooton of Toledo, OH, Denny Hooton of Kalkaska, MI, and Kevin Hooton of Toledo, OH; sisters, Heidie Wiehe (Tom) of New Richmond, OH, Tammy Tyburski (Dave) of Curtis, OH, and Sherrie Clay of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlin, Jordan, Xander, Kyle, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Catalina, Amora, Rosalie, and Madelen; nephews, Jared, Ryan, David, Eric, and Chris; nieces, Sara, Jenny, Heather, Alexa, Nicole, Carrie, and Danielle; niece and God-daughter, Tara; and 22 great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Everett and Alice Hooton; brothers, Mike Hooton and Greg Hooton; and a niece, Courtney Hooton.
