Wanda Ann Grooms

Wanda Ann Grooms, 61, of Summerville SC, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, June 17th from 2-5pm at Ashley River Park Screened Porch (200 Renken Rd, Summerville, SC 29485). Flowers will be accepted at the home of Randall Grooms (137 Highwoods Plantation Ave, Summerville, SC 29485) and brought to the Celebration on Friday or memorials can be made in honor of Wanda to FoCCAS (33 Poor Farm Rd, Walterboro, SC 29488).

Wanda was born on August 12, 1960 in Salina, Kansas to Henry M. McKnight and the late Mary J. Tracey. She was an avid animal lover and spent many years working at the Colleton County Animal Shelter. Most importantly, Wanda loved her family and will be missed dearly.

Wanda is survived by her father, Henry McKnight (Carolyn) of Summerville, SC; sons, Heath Grooms (Brie) of Walterboro, SC, and Randall Grooms (Danielle) of Summerville, SC; brothers, Wayne McKnight of Navarre, FL, and Carl McKnight of Boiling Springs, NC; sisters, Marie Moore of Belton, MO, and Donna Folk of Summerville, SC. She is predeceased by her husband, David Grooms; mother, Mary Tracey; and son, Daniel Grooms.
