William Harold Hall, Jr., 89, of North Charleston, SC, passed away on January 30, 2021 at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro, SC.
He was born on April 8, 1931 in Allendale, SC. Bill, known by friends and family as ‘Stud’, served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard after almost 37 years working as a Supervisor over the paint shop. He loved anything to do with fishing and most times could be found on the lake with a bass rod in his hand.
He is survived by granddaughter, Stefanie Varner & great-granddaughter, Jayden Franklin both of Holly Hill, sisters Mary (Bill) Blackburn of Summerville & Hazel (Bill) Shuler of N. Charleston, many nieces and nephews, and a close friend and long-time neighbor, Glenn ‘Doc’ Snipe of N. Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Harold Hall; his mother, Mary Walker Hall; brothers, Edward & Charles Hall; sisters, Dorothy Burbage & Juanita Gaunt; and beloved grandson, Dustin J. Franklin.
Graveside Services will be Monday afternoon, February 8, 2021 at 2 o’clock in Bonnerest Cemetery.
