William Baker Obituary
William “Bill” Baker, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on October 8, 2025.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Interment will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902. Flowers are accepted.
Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1964 to 1968. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and attending events in his community. He loved spending time with family and friends and was actively involved in the Del Webb Nexton Veterans group , We Care Group, and other groups.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Jeanette Gribbin (Jason) of Summerville, SC; his son, Thomas Baker of Elizabeth, NJ; his sister, Marie “Teri” Napoleon of Millville, PA; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dianne Baker.
